Rift Studio creates custom millwork for a wide range of architects, designers, and decorators, including recipients of the AD100, Frederic It List, and Elle Décor A-List awards. Recent projects have involved collaborations with Colin King, Christopher Farr, Olivia Stutz, Tom Delavan, Pappas Miron, Becky Carter, Jae Joo, Jennifer Hunter, Salon 21 and Beni Rugs. 

We’ve installed our projects in some of NYC’s most iconic buildings, including The El Dorado, Herzog & de Meuron’s 56 Leonard Street, 443 Greenwich Street, 575 Park Avenue and 555 West End Avenue. 

For every commission we take on, whether it’s a standalone piece of furniture or a suite of millwork for an entire home, we pay exacting attention to proportion, material, craftsmanship and architectural context and history. We’re just as comfortable fabricating from an architect’s final blueprints as we are working with individual clients to design pieces from scratch. In everything we do, we strive to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are timeless additions to the living spaces of New York City and beyond.
